Questions To The Nepali Movie Gaatho Makers

Me and my friends loved the trailer of the movie Gaatho and we were expecting it to be really good. I thought the movie would be a story would be about a genius artist who can't open upto the people. And I had hoped the movie would be somewhat of a lovestory between a beautiful girl and the artist with a touch of psychological stuffs. So when we went to watch the movie, we weren't impressed. I don't think it was only us who had great hopes for the movie.
And having high hopes just means higher the disappointment. If you have watched the movie, you know what I am talking about.

Here were few things I didn't get about the movie. So here they are
  1. Samrat had bipolar disorder. I just thought he was a guy faking to be sweet to get his revenge.
  2. The relationship between Bishnu and Simran wasn't specified. It just seemed like a friendzoned guy hitting on that friend.
  3. And the FUNNIEST one, Samrat's mom had labor pain and she gave birth to Samrat after FEW DAYS (like seriously. HOw is she even alive?)
  4. Why was Samrat's mom banished from the village? Give me a valid reason.
  5. Did Samrat know that Bishnu was his brother from the start or not?
  6. Did Samrat really love Simran? OR was his confession just to sway her  away from Bishnu?
  7. Was Samrat's mother blind? I mean she couldn't recognise a girl from a guy. Her son has deadlocks. No one can mistake that.
  8.  Samrat says,"He himself is an art". I didn't see much of any type of art while half the trailer was about art.
  9. Why the hell do you guys love slo-mo sso much? I mean, a bit could add suspense. But slo-mo running or eating for more than a minute is way too much.
  10. Was there a significance of the watch? I might have missed. Why did he throw away the watch at the end
AND
Someone please give me a good reason why was the movie called GAATHO.

The only reason I could find was that Bishnu opens Simran's GAATHOs that Samrat tied at the end. I think that's what they meant by गाँठो फुकाउने .

I liked the overall plot but there were a lot of loopholes as I mentioned above and though it was just about one and half hrs long, the movie seemed way too long. The best thing about the movie were the actors. I think they did wonderful jobs. And the cinematography of the movie was superb. I seriously loved every scene. The scenes on the first half were just simply beautiful. Every frame was like a beautiful painting. And the music were like icing on the cake. Resting aside these compliments, the movie wasn't able to live up to the hype.

Comment below what you thought about the movie and if you understood any of the above points.
